- What does Bookd cost?
- Nothing right now. Listing your business, taking bookings and using the dashboard are free for our early partners. If we introduce paid plans later, you'll hear it from us well before anything changes.
- How do customers pay?
- In cash, at your shop, exactly as they do today. Bookd handles the appointment, not the money — so nothing is deducted from what you earn.
- Do I need a computer?
- No. The business dashboard runs in any phone browser. Open it, sign in, and your calendar is there.
- Can I still take walk-ins?
- Yes. Add a walk-in to the calendar yourself and it blocks that slot for everyone, so the app can't double-book the chair.
- What if I have several barbers?
- Add each one, set their hours and pick the services they do. Customers can request a specific person or take whoever is available.
- Where does Bookd work?
- We're starting in Addis Ababa and opening up more of the country as shops join.
